Job Title: Assistant Clinical Manager

Join Lifespan as an Assistant Clinical Manager and take on a challenging role that combines clinical expertise with leadership skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care while overseeing the management of our clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Manager and Advanced Practice Manager to improve patient flow and maintain safe practices.
  • Direct nursing care and coordinate resources to ensure the timely admission and discharge of patients.
  • Participate in quality assessment and improvement programs to evaluate the effectiveness of care delivered.
  • Lead and assist with multidisciplinary team rounding to enhance unit behaviors and promote positive patient outcomes.
  • Support unit staff to decompress acuity, de-escalate agitated patients, and safely manage restraint initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Baccalaureate in Nursing; Masters preferred (Nursing or related Health Care field acceptable).
  • Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island.
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience with demonstrated clinical and leadership skills.
