Cardiac Medicine Professional Development Manager

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Professional Development Leader to join our Cardiac Medicine team. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and implementing programs for staff development, education, research, quality, and evidence-based practice.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement professional development programs for cardiac medicine staff, including education, training, and coaching.
- Collaborate with nurse directors and other stakeholders to identify training needs and develop solutions.
- Design and deliver educational programs, workshops, and conferences to enhance staff knowledge and skills.
- Conduct needs assessments, program evaluations, and research to inform professional development initiatives.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with external organizations to access best practices and resources.
- Lead quality and safety efforts, promoting a just culture framework and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in hospital surveys and contribute to the development of policies and guidelines.
- MSN or MS with a major in Nursing, or DNP or PhD with a major in Nursing, or a BSN with a Master's degree in a related field.
- 5+ years of cardiovascular/vascular nursing experience, with expertise in evidence-based practice, writing, research, and practice development.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office and Epic, with experience in training and education programs.
