About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our echocardiography lab, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive and high-quality echocardiogram examinations following our lab's protocol.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize a variety of techniques, including 2DE, M-mode, Doppler, and 3DE, to perform echocardiography exams.
  • Apply independent judgment during examinations to ensure accurate anatomical, pathological, and clinical conditions are captured.
  • Prepare exam rooms and ultrasound equipment to conduct examinations in accordance with infection control and patient safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with physicians in the Catheterization Lab and OR to perform echocardiography studies to aid in complex procedures.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a registered cardiac sonographer.
  • Minimum of associate degree (or ultrasonography equivalent) with RDCS or CCI credential.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in echocardiography field preferred, but not required.
