  • Cargo Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of cargo upon arrival to identify any damage or issues.
  • Communication and Coordination: Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure timely unloading of cargo based on arrival schedules.
  • Damage Investigation and Reporting: Investigate and document the cause of any damage to cargo and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
  • Import Charge Processing and Invoicing: Process import charges and generate invoices to customers using our proprietary system.
  • Logistics Coordination: Communicate effectively with truckers, drivers, and branch offices to ensure seamless delivery operations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with significant relevant work experience or relevant certifications.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in data entry, maintenance, and working with general and import/export computer application technology.
  • International Commerce Knowledge: Familiarity with Incoterms, customs regulations, and international trade practices.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Organization Relationships and Work Environment

This role involves working with various levels of the organization and requires the ability to work in an office and outdoor environment. The position involves sitting, typing, moving, carrying, and checking trailer cargo in various environmental conditions.
