We are seeking dedicated individuals to join us as full-time, on-site team members at our new, state-of-the-art factory located in the thriving city of DeSoto, Kansas.


Job Summary:

The Logistics Analyst will provide a high level of analysis on the transportation KPI's involving both ocean shipping and in land shipping.

This role will be supporting the RFA's and RFP's for the logistics projects to ensure the carrier selections are satisfactorily vetted and optimize the transit time and costs.

This role will be instrumental in the development and maintenance of the Logistics dashboards to maximize data trends to drive results for better business decisions.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and conducts strategic logistics projects (RFA's, RFP's) and collaborate with internal customers on requirements and selection criteria.
  • Lead supplier contract negotiations.
  • Design, analyze and assist in the implementation of international supply chain solutions.
  • Support logistics manager on special projects and initiatives.
  • Support documentation, evaluation, and development of the shipping and transportation information for PECNA.
  • Optimize visibility, reporting, and drive cost reduction inside the supply chain.
  • Create and analyze shipping reports and invoices.
  • Support logistics dashboards with actionable tasks.
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve in real-time shipping issues.
  • Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations.
  • Set up and follow up and shipments to ensure proper execution and timely delivery.
  • Prepare shipping documentation.
  • Daily interaction/coordination with truck drivers to ensure smooth shipping operation.

Requirements:


To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employees', wearing PPE is a possibility and includes equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management or relevant field.
3-5 years of logistics or supply chain management experience in areas such as manufacturing, purchasing or other area.
Previous ocean shipping and in land shipping experience required.
Strong analytical, negotiating, problem solving and financial analysis skills.
Must have proficient computer skills utilizing software application such as MS word, PowerPoint, Excel. Ability to create dashboard utilizing excel or Smartsheet.
Must have experience of shipping hazmat.
