Key Responsibilities
- Manage transit and delivery operations, ensuring timely pick-ups and deliveries.
- Conduct delivery reviews with carriers, fostering collaborative problem-solving to mitigate issues.
- Uphold stringent Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for timely pick-up and delivery schedules.
- Efficiently troubleshoot and rectify carrier-related concerns.
- Analyze logistic trends, identifying and executing improvement strategies to enhance efficiency.
- Develop and maintain detailed carrier scorecards to track and evaluate service performance.
- Generate and present monthly reports on carrier performance to internal stakeholders.
- Verify order billing accuracy and address discrepancies.
- Maintain stringent Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for all communications with carriers.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments to prioritize customer satisfaction.
- Perform ad-hoc analytics and reporting to support decision-making processes.
- Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with carriers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in transportation logistics or a related field.
- Previous exposure to an e-commerce environment is highly advantageous.
- Some college education preferred.
- Strong analytical and ad-hoc reporting skills are mandatory.
- Exceptional communication abilities, with proficiency in written and verbal English.
- Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and apply logical reasoning.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- A keen eye for detail with the capacity to identify and rectify errors.
- Capable of discerning carrier requirements and setting clear expectations.
- Adept at prioritizing tasks and managing daily responsibilities efficiently.
- Independent, self-motivated, and equipped with robust problem-solving skills.
- Eagerness to learn, contribute to team efforts, and embrace new challenges.
- Resilience in high-pressure situations with a track record of sound decision-making.
- Must thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting and consistently meet tight deadlines.
Work Environment
Work Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, EST, Monday to Friday.
Work Environment: In office (Downtown Winston-Salem).
Dress Code: Business casual attire.
