KEDPLASMA LLC. is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from donors in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities- Donor Interaction: Present a professional demeanor and appearance to donors, introducing yourself prior to phlebotomy and understanding donor health requirements.
- Phlebotomy Procedures: Perform donor identification, review of records, and arm/vein selection for phlebotomy, using appropriate gauge needles and following DCOPs.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain equipment calibration, standardization, and cleaning schedules according to DCOPs.
- Sample Collection: Perform test sample collection and identification, including NAT testing protocols.
- Donor Support: Respond promptly and competently to donor complaints, reactions, or deferrals.
- Documentation: Record required documentation accurately and in compliance with Company DCOPs.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Relevant Experience: Previous experience in phlebotomy or a related field.
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Certifications: Any relevant certifications, such as phlebotomy certification.
