Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team at Dean's Professional Services. As a Phlebotomy Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients and preparing them for lab testing. This is a part-time position with a competitive hourly rate of $17 (based on experience).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect blood samples from patients for medical testing or donation.
  • Ensure accurate and safe blood collection procedures.
  • Label and store blood samples for lab testing.
  • Verify patient information before drawing blood.
  • Assemble and maintain equipment for blood collection.
  • Work under the direction of the area supervisor to perform daily activities accurately and on time.
  • Maintain a safe and professional environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Phlebotomy Certification (preferred).
  • Minimum 6 months of experience.
  • One year of phlebotomy experience (preferred).
  • Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic training) (preferred).
  • Customer service experience (preferred).
  • Keyboard/data entry experience.
