Worker's Compensation Claims Coordinator Job Description

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Role Overview: The Claims Management Coordinator will collaborate closely with the HR Analyst to ensure effective handling of Workers' Compensation claims and related processes.

  • Manage and oversee HR Medical, Accommodations, and Workers' Compensation communications.
  • Address escalated inquiries and direct them appropriately.
  • Support the Medical Surveillance program, including pre-employment and annual evaluations.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative assistance, encompassing invoicing, document management, and filing systems.
  • Facilitate the transmission and organization of necessary forms.
  • Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all document handling.
  • Coordinate medical screening assessments, including DOT, drug testing, and COVID-19 tracking.
  • Assist with inquiries and scheduling for commercial drivers.
  • Organize testing and screening for chemical exposure assessments.
  • Collect and systematically arrange results for employees.
  • Support the overall medical surveillance initiatives.
  • Engage in scanning, organizing, and providing administrative support.

Desired Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent, or 2 years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Adobe, and DocuSign.
  • Experience with invoice processing and HR databases.
  • Demonstrated experience in HR Medical and Workers' Compensation screening.
  • Key attributes: Personable, Team-oriented, Multitasker, Detail-focused.
  • Excellent communication skills and a valid California driver's license are required.

Company: Harvest Technical Services, Inc.

The compensation range for this position is between $42 to $47 per hour, with actual pay depending on various factors.
