Job Summary

MedPOINT Management is seeking a highly skilled Claims Processor to join our team. As a Claims Processor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate review and processing of claims in accordance with regulatory requirements, internal standards, and contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately review all incoming claims to verify required fields are populated.
  • Process claims information into our computerized claims adjudication system.
  • Meet production standards for manually processed claims, including a minimum of 90 CMS-1500 claims and 50 UB-04 claims per day.
  • Maintain all required documentation of claims processed and pending claims.
  • Respond to and resolve inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve claim issues.
  • Provide backup support for other processors and examiners within the department.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume setting and adapt to change.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of computers, 10-key, and MS Office.
  • Experience in claims processing or a related field.
