The Medical Assistant I will be responsible for providing Administrative and Clinical Support to medical staff, including Measuring and Recording Vital Signs, Documenting Patient Information, and Assisting with Examinations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Administrative Support to medical staff, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
  • Assist with Clinical Procedures, such as Measuring and Recording Vital Signs and Documenting Patient Information.
  • Support Medical Staff with Examinations and Procedures.
  • Maintain Confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA Guidelines.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives and Continuing Education programs.
  • Perform Front Office Duties, including answering phones and responding to patient inquiries.
  • May be required to Draw Blood Samples and Administer Medications under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional.

Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: Minimum one year experience as a Medical Assistant required.

Certifications: Current CPR (BLS) Certification required.

Skills: Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills, commitment to Preventative Healthcare Programs, and ability to work with diverse populations.
