Position Overview:

The Lead Enrollment Specialist at Porter and Chester Institute plays a crucial role in supporting the Director of Admissions in achieving enrollment and start objectives across multiple campuses. This position is vital in ensuring that the strategic goals of the institution are met effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of enrollment and start targets for designated campuses.
  • Handle daily operations of the admissions department at the assigned campus as directed by the Director of Admissions.
  • Provide weekly updates to the Director regarding inquiry distribution and the progress of applicants through various stages.
  • Deliver training to campus Admissions Representatives on new processes or protocols as required.
  • Report weekly enrollment metrics to the Director of Admissions.
  • Complete all assigned reports and tasks as directed by the Director.
  • Engage with qualified prospective students through follow-ups on online applications and inquiries.
  • Communicate campus features and program details accurately and in compliance with regulations.
  • Assist prospective students in completing necessary paperwork and documents for enrollment.
  • Ensure students collaborate with the financial aid department to complete required documentation promptly.
  • Generate regular referrals to enhance enrollment opportunities.
  • Participate in public relations initiatives and recruitment events.
  • Support enrolled students to promote graduation, employment, and referrals.
  • Engage in high school outreach activities, including scheduling appointments and conducting presentations.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree and/or 3-5 years of experience in admissions or related fields.
  • A minimum of 3 years of successful experience in post-secondary education admissions, sales, or marketing.
  • Willingness to travel to various locations for in-person responsibilities.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with high school counselors and educators.
  • Familiarity with higher education database management systems and inquiry management systems is highly preferred.
  • Possess a positive attitude focused on personal, team, and organizational success.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and receptiveness to training.
  • Exhibit strong organizational, time management, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and manage stressful situations effectively.
  • Excellent communication, public relations, and promotional skills.
  • Proficient in common software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
