Job Title: Infrastructure Install Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Install Technician to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our infrastructure project team, you will be responsible for the deployment, installation, and activation of network Transport (DWDM) and L2/L3 equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy and install network infrastructure equipment according to internal and customer standards
  • Provide smart hands support for the Transport and L2/L3 product teams
  • Collaborate with operations, field technicians, and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time
  • Assist the network engineering team with the final activation and acceptance of network infrastructure equipment
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience with telecommunications equipment
  • 2+ years activating, installing, and commissioning optical transmission systems
  • Experience servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing telecom equipment utilizing Ciena, Infinera, and Nokia optical transport
