Life Flight Network is seeking a highly skilled IT Network Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and highly available network architectures that meet business uptime requirements.
  • Configure, maintain, and install various network devices and services, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS, and virtual appliances hosted on the private or public cloud.
  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
  • Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
  • Design, implement, and test disaster recovery solutions.
  • Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems, or direct IT experience may be substituted year for year.
  • Cisco, Azure, AWS, and VMware certifications preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience supporting a multi-node, multi-site, IP network.
  • Deep understanding of networking protocols, including IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, and QoS.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools.
  • Windows Server experience preferred.
  • SonicWALL and/or Fortinet experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and SOX.
