Job Overview

At AMS, we provide innovative testing services and engineering solutions to ensure the safe operation of the nuclear fleet worldwide. The Senior Electrical Engineer will play a key role in supporting our work both in the laboratory and in the field.


About the Role

The successful candidate will design, develop, and implement new equipment and technology for testing electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanic systems in nuclear power plants. They will also perform research and development to produce new equipment and technology.


Responsibilities
  • Develop test plans, perform testing, and troubleshoot issues with I&C systems
  • Analyze results and prepare technical documentation according to AMS's Quality Assurance (QA) program
  • Travel 6-12 times per year to perform field service testing at national and international nuclear power plants

Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Five years of directly related experience in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, software engineering, and/or I&C system engineering
