About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team at Lennox International. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and building strong relationships with existing customers to increase sales of our refrigeration products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
- Perform box load calculations and select the correct products or assist customers in making product selections based on customer needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations
- Negotiate prices, terms of sale, and service agreements
- Ensure high post-sales satisfaction by facilitating positive, long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with customers
- Set account and territory plans on an annual, quarterly, and monthly basis
- Coach and mentor less experienced sales representatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 1 year of related experience
- Strong abilities in building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating, and managing time
- Ability to perform box load calculations independently and select the most appropriate product for the customer
- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate industry and product knowledge
- Ability to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software
