Hearing Care Specialist

Rutland Regional Medical Center seeks a skilled Hearing Care Specialist to join our audiological team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to provide comprehensive audiological services to patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric.
As a Hearing Care Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing and rehabilitating auditory and vestibular impairments, as well as preventing these conditions through education and support.
The ideal candidate will have a Doctorate of Audiology or equivalent degree, with experience in clinical settings. A strong background in patient communication, Microsoft desktop applications, and basic navigation skills are essential for success in this role.
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnoses of hearing and balance disorders
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans to address auditory and vestibular impairments
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
- Provide educational resources and support to patients and their families
Required Qualifications:
- Doctorate of Audiology or equivalent degree
- 1-3 years of clinic experience preferred
- Licensed in the State of Vermont
- Eligible for CCC-A or ABA Board Certification
