We are seeking an exceptional researcher to join our team at The Lundquist Institute, a renowned institution for infection and immunity research. As an Academic Researcher in Microbial Pathogenesis, you will contribute to our strong research programs in Microbiology & Immunology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish or advance an innovative research program focusing on bacterial pathogenesis, infections due to ESKAPE pathogens, and novel antimicrobial, immunotherapeutic, and vaccine development.
  • Secure and manage research funding, with a strong preference for NIH or equivalent grants.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to advance our understanding of infectious diseases and develop effective treatments.
  • Contribute to the academic and research environment of The Lundquist Institute, including teaching, mentoring, and service.

Requirements:

  • PhD and/or MD degree in a relevant field.
  • A strong record of research accomplishments and a clear vision for future investigative work.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
