Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Business Development to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing business growth strategies to increase market share in strategic segments
  • Building and maintaining high-level relationships with key stakeholders to drive revenue and profit growth
  • Managing market verticals and relationships while coordinating efforts with sales and marketing teams
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and collaborating with division sales and corporate business development teams
  • Coordinating education and training initiatives to enhance the skills of our sales and marketing teams
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to inform business development strategies
  • Preparing quarterly reports on activities, progress, and accomplishments for senior leadership

Responsibilities

The Director of Business Development will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing business growth strategies to increase market share in strategic segments
  • Building and maintaining high-level relationships with key stakeholders to drive revenue and profit growth
  • Managing market verticals and relationships while coordinating efforts with sales and marketing teams

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years of prior or related experience in sales/business development
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with direct experience in departmental management
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience
  • A Bachelor's Degree from a four-year College or University in Engineering or a Technical field
