About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Mental Health Clerk at the Helen Farabee Center in Wichita Falls, TX.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clerical support to the Mental Health Center, including greeting consumers, answering phone calls, and directing calls to appropriate staff members.
  • Perform complex data entry and run reports from various computer programs.
  • Schedule appointments for center staff, including the doctor and nurse, and mail reminder letters to consumers.
  • Check individuals in, collect payments, and complete financial information.
  • Upload and/or file paperwork in the clinical record and pull charts for doctor and nurse.
Requirements
  • Graduation from standard high school or equivalent plus one year experience in performance of related duties.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive Center vehicles.
  • Ability to read and proof correspondence, reports, and computer printouts.
  • Excellent spelling and grammar, with ability to write memos, letters, and reports.
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office, CMHC, and CARE software.
