Overview:
The Imaging Intern will operate under the guidance of a Certified Radiographer, executing radiographic procedures while adhering to the standards set by the Joint Review Commission. This role requires a high level of independent judgment and technical skill to ensure the production of quality imaging results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in transferring and positioning patients, utilizing immobilization devices as necessary.
- Determine appropriate technical factors tailored to individual patient needs and operate imaging equipment to generate high-quality radiographic images.
General Expectations:
- Ensure radiation safety for patients and self in line with current safety protocols.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to universal precautions for infection control.
- Safeguard the well-being of patients and visitors consistently.
- Utilize computer systems effectively for documenting patient interactions.
- Exhibit understanding of growth and development principles relevant to the patient demographic.
- Commit to patient and staff safety by adhering to safety regulations and reporting potential hazards.
- Follow established policies and procedures to uphold quality and safety standards.
- Deliver exceptional service to all stakeholders and promote teamwork and innovation.
Additional Duties:
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing and walking; occasional sitting.

Qualifications:
