Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Imaging Operations Supervisor to join our team at WellSpan Health. As a key member of our Imaging Department, you will be responsible for supervising personnel and assisting in managing daily operations. Your expertise in providing imaging services and training new staff will be invaluable to our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and improve services rendered, making recommendations for service additions and deletions.
  • Develop and oversee departmental policies, philosophy, plan, goals, and objectives.
  • Maintain drug control for the department, in conjunction with Pharmaceutical Services.
  • Provide in-service education for technologists and participate in instruction.
  • Select, train, orient, assign, evaluate, and make recommendations for personnel actions.
  • Prepare work assignments and weekly schedules for imaging technologists.
  • Ensure that preventative maintenance is performed according to the established schedule.
  • Manage resources within budgetary guidelines.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to patient, visitor, and staff safety.
  • Maintain established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
  • Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings, and workshops.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree Required.
  • 3 years of experience Required, with Supervisory experience Required.
  • Registered Radiologist Assistant - ARRT Upon Hire Required or one of the following certifications: Registered Technologist-Bone Densitometry - ARRT, Registered Technologist-Breast Sonography - ARRT, Registered Technologist-Cardiac Interventional Radiology - ARRT, Registered Technologist-Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology - ARRT, Registered Technologist-Computed Tomography - ARRT, Registered Technologist-Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) - ARRT, Registered Technologist-Mammography - ARRT, Registered Technologist-Nuclear Medicine Technologist - ARRT, Registered Technologist-Quality Management - ARRT, Registered Technologist-Radiation Therapy - ARRT, Registered Technologist-Radiography - ARRT, Registered Technologist-Sonography - ARRT, Registered Technologist-Vascular Interventional Radiology - ARRT, Registered Technologist-Vascular Sonography - ARRT.
  • Accredited program in radiologic technology Upon Hire Required.
