Job Title: CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at WellSpan Health. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing advanced-level CT radiologic procedures, producing high-quality images, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform all CT scan studies, obtain patient history, and explain routine procedures to patients.
  • Prepare and maintain written documentation as required by the profession and the department.
  • Administer intravenous contrast media under the direct supervision of a physician.
  • Recognize complications and treat appropriately.
  • Schedule cases to coordinate with other patient examinations.
  • Position and transfer patients comfortably, immobilize patients as necessary, and practice radiation safety procedures.
  • Perform all basic to advanced CT examinations, reconstructions, and Cardiovascular CT imaging.
  • Provide preceptor/trainer support to students and new technicians/technologists as needed.
  • Take call to meet the needs of the department, as required.
Requirements:
  • Associates degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • 4 years of progressive responsibility in a diagnostic imaging department.
  • Completed CT Tech II skill sets at a WellSpan facility.
  • Registered Technologist-Computed Tomography (RT(R)(CT)) or Certified in Computed Tomography (NMTCB) upon hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
