Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Imaging Operations Supervisor to join our team at WellSpan Health. As a key member of our Imaging Department, you will be responsible for supervising personnel and assisting in managing daily operations. Your expertise in providing imaging services and training new staff will be invaluable to our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate services rendered and make recommendations for addition and deletion of services.
  • Develop and oversee departmental policies, philosophy, plan, goals, and objectives.
  • Maintain drug control for the department, in conjunction with Pharmaceutical Services.
  • Provide in-service education for technologists and participate in instruction.
  • Select, train, orient, assign department staff, evaluate performance, and make recommendations for personnel actions.
  • Prepare work assignments and weekly schedules for imaging technologists.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span of the assigned patient population.
  • Assess and interpret patient age-specific data and provide appropriate, age-specific treatment.
  • Responsible for the care and maintenance of department/entity equipment and supplies.
  • Ensure that preventative maintenance is performed according to the established schedule.
  • Manage resources within budgetary guidelines.
  • Assist in developing the annual budgetary request for the department and administer approved budget.
