AWS Cloud Contact Center Specialist

An employer is seeking an AWS Engineer to join their team remotely based in EST. This is an open position due to the client's upgrade of their on-prem contact center to a completely cloud-based contact center. The AWS Engineer will be responsible for helping stand up this new cloud-based contact center using Amazon Connect. The ideal resource should have experience with this type of migration/upgrade project and will work closely with matrixed teams and vendors assisting in the project work. This person will leverage various Amazon tools such as Amazon Pinpoint, Amazon Workmail, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Connect Contact Lens, and AWS Lambda API to properly upgrade to this cloud-based contact center. They will work closely with the vendor to manage changes once the project moves into the operational phase and will act as the primary point of contact for delivery and updates.

Requirements
• 8+ years of experience as an AWS Engineer/Architect
• Extensive experience with Amazon Connect
• Previously performed an upgrade/migration project to Amazon Connect
• Utilized various other Amazon technologies including: Amazon Pinpoint, Amazon Workmail, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Connect Contact Lens, AWS Lambda API
• Performed knowledge transfer to get internal team members up to speed with the project and technologies being leveraged
