AWS Cloud Engineer with GitHub Actions Expertise

Job Summary:
ShiftCode Analytics is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer with expertise in GitHub Actions to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with core AWS services, infrastructure as code with Terraform, and Docker containers. Additionally, they will have proficiency in setting up and managing GitHub Actions workflows for building effective and efficient CI/CD processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Hands-on experience with core AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, ECS, ECR, IAM, Service Catalog, AWS Developer tools, monitoring tools like CloudWatch, CloudTrail)
• Experience with infrastructure as code with Terraform (preferred) and CloudFormation
• Proficiency in setting up and managing GitHub Actions workflows for building effective and efficient CI/CD processes
• Experience with Docker containers and knowledge of building and managing Docker images
• Scripting experience (bash, shell)
• Experience with at least one programming language (Python preferred, JavaScript/TypeScript)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Proficiency in setting up and managing self-hosted Actions Runners on ECS/EC2, configure, install approved software
• Integration of GitHub Actions with AWS services and other external tools
• Ability to develop and maintain custom actions based on use cases
