Collection Development & Management
- Carefully curate essential resources for the library's collection, engaging with relevant stakeholders as necessary.
- Select suppliers and monitor their performance.
- Oversee subscriptions and collaborate with IT staff for procurement and financial transactions.
- Maintain order records and budget tracking within the Alma system.
- Organize physical materials and optimize workspace layout.
- Work in partnership with Access Services to manage Course Reserves.
- Deliver research and instructional support to faculty and students.
Research, Teaching, and Learning (RTL)
- Establish connections to enhance teaching, learning, and research initiatives.
- Provide guidance on research methodologies and available resources.
- Offer specialized knowledge in copyright issues and scholarly communication.
- Conduct reference and research consultations.
General Responsibilities
- Act as a representative of the library in various committees and professional organizations.
- Gather statistics and contribute to the library's strategic planning efforts.
- Support library security measures and engage in special projects.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and pest management initiatives.
