Teach and Inspire the Next Generation of Veterinary Technicians

Platt College is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Veterinary Technology Instructor to join our team. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will be responsible for providing quality instruction to students in our Veterinary Technology program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans to meet the program and course objectives
  • Maintain a well-organized and disciplined classroom environment that fosters learning and professionalism
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure students meet the program's learning outcomes
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in veterinary technology education
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Veterinary Technician
  • Current California RVT license in good standing
  • Associate's degree from an AVMA-accredited school in Veterinary Technology
  • Several years of practice and experience in management and/or training
