Role Responsibilities:
The Mathematics Ground Instructor is tasked with delivering high-quality instruction that meets the objectives of the program and course. The instructor is expected to foster an organized and disciplined classroom atmosphere conducive to learning while imparting relevant workplace skills to students.
Essential Qualifications:
- Comprehensive understanding of educational environments, particularly the needs of adult learners.
- Ability to create a positive and effective learning atmosphere.
- Familiarity with professional career pathways relevant to the subjects taught.
- Strong motivation, dedication, and enthusiasm for teaching.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Educational and Professional Requirements:
- A Master's Degree or higher is mandatory.
- Preferred: A minimum of two years of instructional experience in General Education.
- At least 15 semester credit hours or 23 quarter credit hours in a subject area that supports the General Education curriculum.
Employment Type: Adjunct, hourly, non-exempt.
- Adjunct faculty hours are contingent upon the courses scheduled in a given module, with no guaranteed hours and typically under 25 hours per week.
