Liberty Federal Credit Union is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Mortgage Loan Processing Assistant to join our team. As a Mortgage Loan Processing Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth processing of mortgage loans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • File Scrubbing: Scrub files after application is taken to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Document Review: Review support documents prior to efolder upload, including credit reports, bank statements, paystubs, 401k statements, appraisals, and other relevant documents.
  • Disclosure Upload: Upload disclosures to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Communication: Maintain file status and communicate with loan officers, realtors, and borrowers to ensure seamless processing.
  • Ordering Documents: Order HOI, VOD, and VOEs as needed to support loan processing.
  • Loan Processing Support: Work with processing to address any file issues and help clear conditions.
  • Loan Submission: Submit loans for re-score of credit to ensure accurate and timely processing.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage pipeline and closing dates to ensure buyer, seller, and agent agreement, and that HUD is sent 48 hours prior to closing.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the branch, including clerical, reception, and project-based work.
  • Member Service: Provide exceptional member service to ensure a positive experience.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Professional Image: Project a professional company image in person, over the phone, and in written communications.
  • Attention to Detail: Great attention to detail and accuracy are essential for this role.
  • Multi-Tasking: Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Mortgage Industry Experience: At least 1+ year(s) of mortgage industry experience and a working knowledge of the industry.
