Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Loan Originator to join our team at First Federal Bank. As a Senior Mortgage Officer, you will be responsible for originating mortgage loans and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interview residential mortgage loan applicants and request specified information for loan application.
  • Notify applicants of loan decisions and correspond with customers, applicants, or creditors to resolve questions regarding application information.
  • Recommend and outline terms of loan, inform prospective borrowers of loan commitments, and review developing laws and regulations as they apply to installment loan security agreements.
  • Assist collection officers with delinquent account files and be responsible for quality loan growth.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with borrowers, builders, and realtors.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 4-year degree preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 6 years' experience originating mortgage loans.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of financial institution products and services.
  • Excellent cross-selling, organizational, and communication skills.
