About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic insight and direction to refine our overall marketing strategy, focusing on consumer engagement and activation.
  2. Marketing Plan Development: Lead the development and implementation of a multi-channel consumer marketing plan, including media, partnerships, and digital initiatives.
  3. Creative Development: Develop breakthrough creative content, including video, digital, social, and print, to engage and activate consumers.
  4. Digital Marketing: Lead the refinement and expansion of our digital marketing plan, focusing on data-driven strategies to engage and activate consumers.
  5. Metrics and Analysis: Develop and track metrics to measure media mix, consumer engagement, and promotional effectiveness, linking to broader brand success metrics.
  6. Partnership Development: Build seamless partnerships with internal stakeholders, including corporate affairs, advocacy, and healthcare professional marketing.
  7. Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to gain alignment on focus and timing with internal partners.
  8. Market Research: Coordinate and drive market research plans to generate insights for plan and creative optimization.
  9. KOL and Ambassador Strategy: Lead the identification and relationship development of key opinion leaders and patient/care partner ambassadors.
  10. Agency Management: Lead consumer-related agencies to hold them accountable to high performance standards.
  11. Marketing Budget Management: Proactively manage marketing budget to ensure effective allocation and ROI.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in marketing, healthcare, business administration, or a related field, with an MBA preferred.
  • A minimum of 12 years of progressively responsible experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with digital marketing experience required.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in a leadership role, with healthcare professional and consumer marketing experience preferred.
  • Technical marketing competencies, including marketplace/consumer analysis, consumer segmentation, brand positioning, and execution excellence.
