Job Description

You will be responsible for planning and providing direct professional nursing care to specified patients throughout the entire episode of service delivery as defined by population and unit. This role requires clinical expertise, using the nursing process to provide safe, appropriate patient care according to CCMC policies and standards.

Responsibilities

  • CLINICAL PRACTICE - Demonstrates clinical expertise and uses the nursing process to provide safe, appropriate patient care to a defined patient population according to CCMC and unit policies and standards.
  • POPULATION SPECIFIC - Demonstrates knowledge of the differences and needs of patients in appropriate, specific populations from neonate through adolescence and applies them to practice.
  • UNIT LEADERSHIP - Delegates duties and tasks associated with patient care to clinical staff according to hospital policy and their scope of practice.
  • DOCUMENTATION/COMMUNICATION - Completes all required documentation in a timely manner, according to CCMC policies and standards.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of ASN/ADN required upon hire, BSN preferred; must acquire BSN within 3 years of hire
  • Minimum of 2 years pediatric and/or medical/surgical experience preferred

Estimated Salary

$95,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
