Job Title: Staff Nurse - Intensive Care Unit - Part-time

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit.

Job Summary:

The Staff Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care and patient satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Current New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse
  • Basic Life Support Training
  • Infection Control Training
  • Associates Degree in Nursing Required
  • Bachelors in Nursing preferred
  • Effective English communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to use basic data entry and retrieval systems
