Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med Surg team in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey.

The ideal candidate will maintain the highest standards of nursing practice, adhering to the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics, Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice, and Nursing's Social Policy Statement.
The successful candidate will actualize the vision, mission, values, and balanced scorecard performance measures for Montefiore Medical Center.The RN will participate in performance improvement/research activities, demonstrating core and unit-specific competencies based on the patient population served.
Assessment, care management, direct patient care, patient/family education, evaluation of outcomes, and discharge planning.
The RN will communicate effectively to collaborate, coordinate, and maintain continuity and quality of care, plan of care, and discharge plan.
New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as an R.
1 year ICU experience preferred~ Basic Life Support Training
~ Infection Control Training Certification in specialty preferred
~ Effective English communication skills, both written and oral
~ Ability to use basic data entry and retrieval systems
