Staff Nurse

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey.
Job Summary:The Staff Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Neurology/Stroke unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient conditions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and quality of care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatment plans.
- New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as an RN.
- Basic Life Support Training.
- Infection Control Training.
- Bachelors in Nursing preferred.
- Certification in Neurology specialty preferred.
- Effective English communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to use basic data entry and retrieval systems.
