The ideal candidate will maintain the highest standards of nursing practice, adhering to the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics, Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice, and Nursing's Social Policy Statement.

The successful candidate will actualize the vision, mission, values, and balanced scorecard performance measures for Montefiore Medical Center.

The RN will participate in performance improvement/research activities and demonstrate core and unit-specific competencies based on the patient population served.


Requirements:
  • New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as an R.
  • Basic Life Support Training
  • Infection Control Training
  • Bachelors in Nursing preferred
  • Certification in Neurology specialty preferred
  • Effective English communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to use basic data entry and retrieval systems
