About Our Client

Our client, a well-established firm with a robust team, is seeking to enhance their commercial division by adding a new supervisor.

Position Overview

Core Responsibilities
  • Lead site operations, overseeing all subordinate supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Develop and uphold project plans, ensuring consistent monitoring of progress.
  • Oversee and coordinate all activities on the job site.
  • Manage workforce and subcontractors to guarantee quality workmanship and timely service delivery.
  • Foster positive relationships with Owners, Design Consultants, and Project Managers.
  • Collaborate with local inspectors and utility representatives to ensure adherence to regulations.
  • Enforce safety protocols and manage quality assurance processes.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed short-term project schedules.
  • Oversee the invoicing process and manage project financials.
  • Address and resolve daily operational challenges.
  • Compile daily reports detailing manpower and significant activities.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will possess:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction sector as a supervisor.
  • Experience with projects in the local area.
  • Background in light industrial construction is essential.
  • Preferred experience in ground-up and/or tilt-wall construction.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Educational background in Construction Management or a related discipline is preferred.
