Job Summary:
Lorien Health Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Geriatric Nursing Assistant to join our team at Lorien Mays Chapel. As a Weekend Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to patients in accordance with policies and procedures, as directed by the Director of Nursing.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
- Assist with mealtime, including feeding and hydration.
- Participate in activities that promote patient engagement and socialization.
Requirements:
- Current Maryland GNA license.
- Availability to work every other weekend, including Saturdays and Sundays.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and nights.
