Position Overview:
As a Senior Quantitative Analyst specializing in Model Risk Audit at Capital One, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and implement opportunities for quantitative methods, machine learning, and automation to optimize business performance and operational efficiencies.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to create cloud-based solutions grounded in data.

  • Proficiency in essential econometric and statistical techniques, including predictive modeling, logistic regression, survival analysis, and decision trees.
Basic Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics, or a Master's Degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience in data analytics, financial modeling, or econometric modeling.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A Master's Degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with statistical analysis software such as Python or R.
  • At least 2 years of experience in data analysis.
  • Experience in manipulating and analyzing large datasets.
  • Expertise in key econometric and statistical techniques.
