Job Summary

Koinonia Homes is seeking a highly skilled Intervention Specialist to join our team. As an Intervention Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting students with diverse needs, promoting academic growth, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and report on student progress toward educational goals, providing data-driven insights to inform instruction.
  • Collaborate with classroom support staff to develop and implement targeted instructional strategies, ensuring alignment with ABA principles and procedures.
  • Lead skill-building sessions and project meetings, working closely with supervisors to drive student outcomes.
  • Attend regular meetings with the clinical team to share best practices and address student needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field; Master's Degree preferred.
  • Certification as a Licensed Intervention Specialist in the state of Ohio.
  • Teaching experience, either through field placement or employment, with a focus on students with Autism and/or Behavior Disorders.
