Koinonia Homes is seeking a highly skilled Intervention Specialist to join our team. As an Intervention Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting students with special needs in achieving their educational goals.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and report on student progress towards identified educational goals, providing data-driven insights to inform instruction.
- Collaborate with classroom support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans, ensuring students receive targeted support to meet their unique needs.
- Lead designated skill set/project meetings, working closely with supervisors to ensure seamless implementation of intensive teaching sessions.
- Attend regular meetings with the clinical team to discuss student progress, share best practices, and address any challenges that may arise.
- Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or a related field; Master's Degree preferred.
- Certification as a Licensed Intervention Specialist in the state of Ohio.
- Teaching experience, either through field placement/student teaching or employment, with a preference for experience working with students with Autism and/or Behavior Disorders.
