As a Preschool Educator at Primrose School, you will play a crucial role in guiding young learners as they explore and comprehend their surroundings.


We are looking for a passionate and skilled Educator to design and execute a continuous program of activities that foster the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth of each child, in alignment with the Primrose Balanced Learning philosophy.


Primrose School is a recognized private preschool that delivers an exceptional educational childcare experience. We provide year-round programs for children from infancy through elementary school age.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the overall supervision and daily operations of a group of children.
  • Adhere to all guidelines and regulations set forth by Primrose School and relevant local, state, or national agencies regarding the health, safety, and care of children.
  • Execute the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum.
  • Maintain an inviting and well-organized classroom that encourages children to create, explore, and make confident decisions.
  • Provide verbal acknowledgment and support to children while establishing clear and consistent expectations for their behavior.
  • Take responsibility for the upkeep and necessary cleaning duties of the classroom, communal areas, and outdoor spaces.
  • Uphold a professional appearance in accordance with the guidelines provided in the Primrose School Employee Handbook.
  • Assist in other roles as determined necessary by the Director or designated personnel.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Must fulfill the basic requirements set by the local childcare regulatory agency.
  • Previous experience in a teaching or assistant teaching role within a licensed early childhood program is preferred.
  • Understanding of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. for the handling of children in various situations, including emergencies. For Infant and Young Toddler educators, must be capable of safely lifting infants in and out of cribs.


Each Primrose school operates as a privately owned franchise, with the respective Franchise Owner serving as the employer at each location. Franchise Owners establish their own wage and benefit structures, which may differ among them. Primrose Schools and its Franchise Owners are equal opportunity employers. Compensation:
$15.00 per hour
