You will also play a vital role in maintaining a conducive learning environment and managing educational materials.
Required Qualifications
- Education and Training:
- Must possess a GED or High School diploma within six months of employment.
- Completion of a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or equivalent in early childhood education within two years of employment, focusing on preschool-aged children.
- Prior experience in engaging with preschool-aged children in a play-based learning environment or similar setting.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Fundamental understanding of early childhood development principles and practices applicable in educational contexts.
- Familiarity with instructional strategies tailored for preschool-aged children.
- Basic clerical skills and record-keeping abilities.
- Competence in utilizing personal computers and educational tools to enhance learning.
