About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team at FastMarket. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and driving sales growth through upselling and suggestive selling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service Superstar: Greet customers with a smile, offer assistance, and ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
  • Sales Floor Guru: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves, cleaning displays, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Upselling Ace: Master the art of upselling and suggestive selling to enhance the customer experience and drive sales growth.
  • Brand Ambassador Extraordinaire: Champion our brand by encouraging customers to join our loyalty rewards program and highlighting exclusive benefits and personalized offers.
  • Cash Handling Pro: Efficiently manage the cash register, handle transactions with accuracy, and maintain a seamless financial flow.
  • Safety Champion: Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues alike, adhering to safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Team Player: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and provide support wherever needed.
  • Facility Maintenance Expert: Take pride in maintaining a clean and inviting store, including cleaning restrooms, emptying trash bins, and refilling window washing stations.
  • Environment Ambassador: Actively participate in keeping our outdoor space clean and welcoming, contributing to a positive environmental impact and a great customer experience.
Requirements
  • Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older (21 years of age or older in certain states).
  • Availability: Must be able to work weekends and holidays, embracing the full rhythm of retail.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.
  • Math Proficiency: Basic math skills required, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
  • Physical Ability: Capable of frequently lifting 10 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Pre-Employment Screening: Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and be subject to a criminal history background check.
