Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Data Analyst II to join our team in Smithfield, RI. As a key member of our data analytics team, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining organizational reports, metrics, and scorecards/dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data extraction and visualization: Extract data from multiple sources and present it in meaningful charts, graphs, tables, or other visualizations.
  • Data analysis and reporting: Support organizational goals and objectives through data collection and analysis for assigned projects and process improvement programs.
  • Dashboard maintenance: Maintain existing dashboards and reports ensuring accuracy and consistent delivery methods through use of automated tools and workflows.
  • Strategic insights: Deliver data-driven strategic insights, trends, and predictions to the Marketing team on current media optimization and future investment opportunities
  • Audit support: Ensure accurate and timely information gathering for internal and external audit requests.
  • Team collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Lending teams to identify opportunities for new member acquisition
  • Competitive research: Conduct competitive research and analyze benchmarking data; devise and evaluate methods for collecting data, such as surveys, focus groups, questionnaires, and opinion polls.
  • Business modeling: Work alongside representatives from various departments to apply data by designing and providing suggestions for them to implement business models.
Requirements:
  • SQL experience: Minimum One Year of SQL Experience required
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Applied Statistics, Computer Science, Actuarial Mathematics required
  • Marketing analytics: Minor in Marketing/Marketing Analytics preferred
  • Technical skills: Demonstrated Knowledge of SQL, data presentation, and report writing methodologies
  • Analytical skills: Strong analytical skills with ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information
  • Statistical knowledge: Understanding of advanced statistical methods, machine learning, data mining, and AI
  • Programming languages: Advanced knowledge of Python or R
  • Digital analytics: Knowledge of digital analytics and social media measurement tools
  • Communication skills: Excellent verbal, written, telephone, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Collaboration skills: Strong negotiation and collaboration skills

Estimated salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year.
