Job Overview

The Direct Support Professional II position at CRSI is a vital role that focuses on fostering a nurturing and supportive environment for individuals in residential care. This position comes with a sign-on bonus ranging from $1000 to $1500, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid training, paid time off, and certain paid holidays. Employees are also eligible for health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as short and long-term disability and life insurance.

Key Responsibilities

The primary duties include:

  • Overseeing the daily operations of the home to ensure a comfortable and homelike atmosphere for residents.
  • Collaborating with consumers to implement their Individual Plans, addressing their social, physical, and psychological needs.
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable standards and regulations set forth by DODD Medicaid (Title XIX) and other governing bodies.
  • Facilitating consumer safety and staff training in accordance with established operational guidelines.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Strong communication, writing, time management, and organizational skills are essential.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and make independent decisions based on sound judgment.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A valid driver's license and vehicle insurance are mandatory.
  • Successful completion of employment and background screenings is required.
  • DSPaths credential is preferred.
Compensation

Compensation for this position is based on an hourly wage.
