Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Direct Support Professional II to join our team at CRSI. As a Direct Support Professional II, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to individuals with disabilities in a home-like environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Personal Care: Assist individuals with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support Daily Living Activities: Help individuals with meal preparation, medication management, and other daily tasks.
  • Encourage Independence: Support individuals in developing and maintaining their independence, including assisting with daily routines and activities.
  • Monitor and Report: Monitor the health and well-being of individuals and report any concerns or issues to management.
  • Collaborate with Team: Work collaboratively with other support staff and management to ensure the best possible care and support for individuals.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication, writing, time management, and organizational skills required.
  • Discretion and Judgment: Ability to use discretion and make independent decisions based on good judgment.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Good problem-solving and conflict resolution skills required.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance required.
  • Background Screenings: Acceptable employment and background screenings required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • DSPaths Credential: DSPaths credential preferred.
