Position Summary

Role Overview: The Cashier is responsible for executing cash handling duties, which include processing cash transactions, verifying cash drawers, providing change, counting cash receipts, and completing cash reports. Additional responsibilities may include general food service tasks while upholding sanitation standards in preparation, service, and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct sales transactions promptly and efficiently.
  • Accurately record all sales in the cash register.
  • Process payments, provide change, and issue receipts to customers.
  • Follow established procedures for cash refunds.
  • Engage with customers and address any complaints in a courteous, service-oriented manner.
  • Manage assigned cash funds and receipts, ensuring compliance with cash handling standards.
  • Monitor customer purchases and ensure proper portion sizes.
  • Restock condiments, beverages, and supplies while maintaining cleanliness in service areas.
  • Keep the pastry display fully stocked.
  • Adhere to company service standards and inventory control procedures.
  • Comply with all sanitation, ServSafe, and safety regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
