Key Qualifications
- A strong enthusiasm for comic books, reviewing content, and a desire to progress within the industry.
- A comprehensive understanding of Movies & TV, including but not limited to:
- Disney, MCU, DCU, Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Horror, Game of Thrones/House of the Dragon, Rings of Power, Breaking Bad, The Last of Us, The Walking Dead, Invincible, Sitcoms, animated series, Law & Order, NCIS, CSI, Chicago P.D., and Grey's Anatomy.
- Current knowledge of new shows and films.
- Ability to critically analyze content and substantiate claims with direct references to source material.
- A keen eye for grammatical precision.
- Proficient command of the English language.
- Capability to produce high-quality articles with quick turnaround times.
- Comfortable operating in a fully virtual setting.
- General understanding of film and television culture coupled with strong research abilities.
Responsibilities
- Stay informed about new shows and films, ensuring timely reviews are prepared for release.
- Write a minimum of 3 reviews (1,400 words each) weekly in CBR's established style, following the necessary training.
- Review assignments will be based on the writer's expertise and CBR's requirements.
- Engage in fact-checking, formatting, linking, and sourcing images.
- Receive and implement feedback from the editorial team.
- Maintain open and proactive communication with the editorial team.
